Coaching for your current role
Learn through conversation and practice.
This three-day course is for people who want practical coaching skills they can use in their existing professional role. You do not need previous NLP training to take part.
Managers, leaders, healthcare professionals, trainers, consultants and others who support or develop people can use coaching conversations to help colleagues and clients think things through for themselves.
Skills for useful coaching conversations
Through explanation, demonstrations and guided practice, explore how to:
Listen with attention
Notice what a person is saying and make room for their perspective before jumping to solutions.
Ask questions that open thinking
Use clear, considered questions to explore assumptions, options and what matters to the person.
Clarify goals and direction
Help turn broad intentions into outcomes that can guide a constructive conversation.
Offer feedback and structure
Use practical frameworks and feedback to support reflection, learning and forward movement.
Practise, reflect and adapt
Coaching is learned by doing, not only by observing. You will have opportunities to experience both sides of coaching conversations, practise new skills and reflect on what helps. NLP ideas are introduced where they can support communication, language, outcomes and flexibility.
